Cuemby Platform prioritizes flexibility and security for our users. With the option to generate an API Key, we give your team control. This feature enables external users, applications, or services to securely access your Organization while allowing you to define precise permissions for each Key.
Before you create an API Key, make sure you are in the right Organization as API Key will be created under the Organization.
Let’s select the API Keys button in the three dots button in the sidebar menu.
Click on “Create.”
The page is empty if you have not created any API Keys.
Enter the name of the API Key you are going to create.
Select the expiration date of the Key.
Select the role for this API Key.
Once you select the permissions, click on “Create.”
You will see a modal with your API Key. Once it is generated and displayed here, you will not be able to retrieve it. Please make sure to copy the Key and keep it somewhere safe.
Once you close the modal, you see the API Key you just created with the expiration date you have set.
All done! You can find the API definitions in the menu, selecting “Developer Hub” and then “API Definitions”.
